First National Bank
Due to its ideal location, First National Bank of Camdenton chose to remain at their existing location when it became apparent that additional space was needed. As the original structure was not designed for a second floor, this created the need to place a building over the top of a building. In order to achieve this complicated assignment, the building was designed so that the second floor would be placed on friction piers drilled to the depth required for the raised floor.
The first floor houses New Accounts, the Loan Department and Vaults; the second floor is home for the Secondary Market, Brokerage, Marketing and the Board Room. The lower level includes space for Bookkeeping, Operations, Proof and Computer Room. The expansion also included the addition of an elevator.
