Roaring River CCC Lodge
This renovation project involved the restoration of a three-story lodge built in the 1930’s. This was originally designed as a building with community and dining rooms, and one level of rooms for rent. The building had been previously renovated into offices and a park shop. This project restored the historic building to its previous use for the rental of rooms, and creates 7 units for rent on two floors, with 14 beds total, with kitchenettes, living areas and dining areas in each unit. The building also includes a community room with associated warming kitchen. The historic nature of the building is preserved by the renovation work, and some historic elements of the building have been restored.
