Nevada Housing Authority
Roof Replacement, Fairground Estates
49 Housing Units
The Nevada Housing Authority commissioned Esterly, Schneider to prepare construction documents in order to remove the existing asphalt shingled roofs, of their 49 residential buildings, down to the decking and replace with new Architectural Asphalt Shingle roofing.
New gutters and downspouts were all incorporated into the design. The project also included the shingle replacement of their Community Building.
In addition, the Nevada Housing Authority commissioned Esterly, Schneider to perform a needs assessment and a five-year action plan for grant funds through the Capital Funds Program. The project manager performed the field inspections to document and assess each of the unit’s existing conditions. After completing the field inspections, an in-depth study and evaluation of the physical needs were complied for a detailed report assessment. The Physical Needs Assessment included an individual breakdown of each project and a cost estimate prioritizing the projects in a five year time frame. This Five-Year Action Plan provides the Nevada Housing Authority a working document detailing recommendations and costs for current and future budgeting.
